Celebrity handbag lines are rarely inspiring, but Jessica Simpson has proven herself to be the exception to the rule with her affordable handbag collection.

The Karma satchel is the latest Jessica Simpson purse to catch my eye. I've long been enamored by the preppy appeal of cut-out fabric, but I've never seen the trend interpreted in such a fun way. Rather than simple dots, we see cute flowers cut from the synthetic fabric. It could have appeared kitschy, but Jessica Simpson has kept these blooms dainty and delicate enough to keep it this side of chic.
