Have you noticed how Harveys, creator of the innovative eco-friendly seatbelt purses, made from actual recycled seatbelts, have started making bags that are actually pretty?
Putting the fun into something functional, Harveys has moved from plain and boring bags built on a green theme, through to producing pieces like this Lola clutch that are actually attractive. In fact, until you feel it I doubt that you would click this purse was made from anything unusual at all!
The simple black background is enhanced by two layers of delicate black ruffles; incidentally, it turns out seatbelts are just the right material for structured shapes and waves! I particularly admire how well the natural sheen has been used to make dark shadows and pools of light!
Whilst green bags are great (and we all love saving the world) we are often left with something dull. Well, the materials of this recycled purse may not be at all high end, but at least this bag is pretty and a great conversation starter!

I only buy ‘green’ as much as possible and search for recycled products.
I am confused, I went to Harvey’s website and they make no mention of this bag being recycled. At the high price of $94 for a wristlet I doubt that this bag is made of recycled anything.
green is sexy

not recycled i don’t think, just innovative and amazing looking. I would break your “green only” rule for this one!

Actually, all Harveys bags are made from recycled seatbelts. Its Treecycle range goes a little further with eco-friendly lining, but with every Harveys product the exterior is green!
