Eenamaria Girlfriend’s Bestfriend Wristlet | Bold Retro Cross Convertible Clutch Purse

Eenamaria set us up to have some serious expectations when it called this wristlet the Girlfriend's Bestfriend. But I'm just not sure this one's worth the hype.

Sure, the styling is cute and just as retro as we'd expect from the brand. There's nothing new about the bold cross design and the glossy contrasting colors, but it's a look that Eenamaria does well. The removable wrist strap is handy too, helping the Girlfriend's Bestfriend convert from wristlet to clutch depending on the occasion.

But Girlfriend's Bestfriend may be overstating the point. The press-studded panel looks great, but your tune is sure to change when you need to actually use the purse. You'll need to pop open the studs before unzipping the clutch. Of course, by then it's likely your phone will have stopped ringing.

If a purse were really my best friend, it'd be bigger too. The interior would have a few pockets, rather than this minimalist design, although it'd be just this shade of red. And rather than a wrist strap, it'd have a more practical shoulder strap.

For fans of Eenamaria, the distinctive good looks and $25 price tag will be convincing enough. Personally though, I'd prefer to enjoy Eenamaria's style on another, more functional, bag.
