Dan W Waterfall Minaudiere Dan W gives us a modern take on art deco style with this Waterfall minaudiere.

This purse really is a stunner, with its colored snake print leather panels, wooden frame, and mother of pearl corners. The combination is like nothing I've ever seen, and when you look at as many handbags as I do that's pretty impressive.

It might not be the most practical clutch in your collection though. It's quite small, and its hard case means you won't be able to sneak any extras inside. I'm used to traveling light of an evening, so that doesn't worry me so much. The lack of strap is another matter. This minaudiere is such an unusual shape, I can't imagine it'll be very easy to carry. Wrapping your hand around that raised wooden frame could prove especially awkward.

The Waterfall purse is affordable at $92, but it seems you might get what you pay for. Customers have complained about the pearl breaking, and the glue wearing away. It looks like this might be one of those purses that's here for a good time, not a long time!
