We’re all familiar with Adidas’ gym bags. They’re practical and durable, but sadly they tend to look like gym bags. But with the Alegra Adidas has created a handbag that wouldn’t look out of place away from the locker room.
In many ways the Alegra is just a stock standard tote, but that’s actually the key to its versatility. This style of handbag isn’t one I associate with the gym; ordinarily we’d fill a duffel or satchel with our sweats. That unexpected shape automatically suggests this is a bag that deserves a few more outings.
The Alegra’s versatility is helped by its fun prints. I can’t remember ever calling a cheetah print subtle, but the gentle variations in the pink used here actually make this animal print sedate! That’s a real blessing, as a pink cheetah printed purse could so easily have appeared gaudy. If it’s too feminine for you don’t worry; this bag’s also available in plain black and a few checked variations.
It needn’t be a gym bag, but the Alegra’s spacious interior and selection of secure pockets is up to that task. It’d also work well as a book bag, a library tote, a diaper bag, or any other kind of casual accessory! Not bad for a purse costing just $20!
