Kate Spade adds some new shapes to her classic collection with this Charlie hobo.
I am not used to seeing teardrop shaped purses, and that means that despite the muted and sophisticated colors, you will still have a handbag that stands out from the crowd, looking different from all the classic rectangular totes on the market. Interestingly this curving shape also works well with the straight alternating stripes; it seems to give it a slightly more shapely look.
Whilst the shape is unusual, I am pleased to report that when it comes to fabric and structure, Kate Spade has stuck with what she knows best. The exterior fabric is a lovely traditional wool felt, with leather accents that really emphasize the matte texture. Inside is a signature satin fabric; it’s not as exciting as some of her polka dot versions, but pretty classy nonetheless. Be careful not to stain the lovely cream though!
The Beantown hobo offers a happy medium between practical organization and fun individuality. That’s the perfect combination in my humble opinion!
