Well, ladies, get the oxygen ready because the chance of owning your very own Birkin has arrived. In what they're calling their "biggest-ever handbag giveaway," Portero.com has teamed up with fellow fashion-loving websites FabSugar and Purse Blog to give out one very classic, absolutely luxurious black leather Hermès Birkin valued at $8,350.

In the fashion of Portero's other items in their online store, this designer handbag is pre-owned but in absolute pristine condition, according to the website. Its fun giveaway poem, written especially for the contest, even alludes to this in the following verse:

"The holy grail of luxury leather, perfect for use in any weather, it's Portero pre-owned, and this Hermès bag, is pristine, never worn, authentic and tagged."

Though it might be a little corny, it does get the point across. You can enter to win this fabulous giveaway by submitting your e-mail address on FabSugar's contest page. See the official rules of the giveaway here.

Purse Blog is awarding one lucky winner a black leather Garbo Wallet. The small zippered bag is covered with one of the designer label's favorite fall features: studs. The edgy detail in bright gold really makes the Garbo pop.

While the wallet might be new, the Garbo look is not. This is an example of one of those "familiar styles" that Be & D revamped and brought back for the season. Studded bags might have been more cutting edge back in '04, but they are all the rage now, which makes the Garbo wallet right on trend.

To win this rocker-worthy pocketbook, all you have to do is check out Be & D's website and then leave a comment on Purse Blog's giveaway page about your favorite item from the designer. Though the information currently states that the contest ends on August 20th, I'm guessing that it's a typo that is supposed to read September 20th (since the info was posted on September 2). There's always something about them that makes them classic, but with a little twist, yet not over the top in any way. Stars seem to love them, too, since celebrities like Jessica Alba and Hayden Panattierre have been spotted toting around the handbags like there's no tomorrow.

It's hard not to get excited about new Rebecca Minkoff styles coming out. I'm sure I'm not the only one waiting with bated breath. That's why I'm positive that this video preview of the summer '09 handbags, starring the spunky Rebecca herself, will be a viral hit.

The designer gives a sneak peek at the upcoming collection including several of those studded handbags we keep seeing, like the mini Crush, and a new line of adorable cosmetics bags. Also, look for straw to make a big comeback. Minkoff sums it up while describing the wide range of handbags in the summery material.

"Here at Rebecca Minkoff, we are making straw cool again," she said.

I can almost here her saying that a company meeting. Yes, Rebecca, you make straw look very, very cool. But that goes for just about anything you touch.
