The brand is already popular with celebrity Brits like Sienna Miller and Annie Lennox's model daughter Tali, so it's only a matter of time before the rest of the country joins in.

The two-storey Henrietta Street outlet will feature four rooms cleverly designed to look like the typical Kate Spade lover's apartment. Each one will feature a gorgeous array of Kate Spade accessories, from wild leopard print tote bags to elegant jewel-toned clutch purses. Comfy ballerina flat shoes and retro-inspired apparel will sit alongside the famous purses.

The store promises to open with a star-studded launch party. Amber Le Bon and Ben Grimes are already confirmed to DJ the night alongside The Like.

Apollinaire is famous for collaborations with the likes of Pablo Picasso and Jean Cocteau. He was fascinated by the work of Cubist painters, and was regarded as one of the most active members of the Montparnasse arts scene.

Designer Robert Baciocchi created the space, which features a facade paying homage to the Mirabeau bridge. This bridge inspired one of Apollinaire's most iconic poems. Its silhouette frames the store, which also features mannequins depicting a scene straight from the dawn of the 20th century. The historic theme continues with the building's marble, which came from the very first Prada store built in 1913.

The Prada pop-up store will trade for the next five months. It sounds like it's worth a visit if you happen to visit the world's fashion capital!

"We have 22 of our own boutiques in the U.S. - East Hampton will be 22 and a half," Hermès President and CEO Robert Chavez explained, adding that a permanent location doesn’t make sense in the global recession.

"We just weren't ready to commit to a long-term lease, knowing that obviously the key selling period is in the summer months when most people are there."

In keeping with the location's laidback vibe, the Hermes store will be a relaxed affair with crisp white paint and casual accessories. The East Hampton's store will sell Hermes famous handbags, although we can probably expect more beach bags than Birkins. It will also feature scarves, neckties, homewares, bathing suits, beach towels, and a selection of riding gear. I'm particularly intrigued by the one-of-a-kind white leather saddle, whose price is "available upon request." Naturally.
