If you're Kathy Van Zeeland you add leopard spots and colorful graffiti and create the Tag Team.

Honestly it's not a design approach I'd suggest. It looks really unprofessional, the kind of thing you'd expect a junior high kid to create with some marker pens. But you can't accuse it of being boring!

I'd take a little boring over this tacky design, but I can't fault it on a practical level. There's a zippered pocket on the back and an open pocket on each side, and that's all before we open the shopper up! Pop open the magnetic snap and you'll find another secure pocket, as well as a selection of open pockets for sunglasses and personal technology. The red graffiti printed lining should hide any stains too. If only we bought bags for their functional features we might be tempted.

It doesn't look like a high-end bag, but Kathy Van Zeeland doesn't charge like a high-end designer. At least at $79, the Tag Team's pretty cheap! That's still not enough to convince me, but if you're hanging onto early 90s hip hop culture you may feel differently!

The attention to detail is impressive, especially considering that Sprayground backpacks cost just $48. Each dual-compartment backpack is made from durable nylon. The front pocket is large enough to hold a 15-inch laptop, while the rear is packed with pockets designed to carry smaller gadgets. The shoulder straps are ergonomic, and the back panel padded for extra comfort. Hidden skateboard straps allow you to attach your board for convenient carrying to the skate park.

Louis Vuitton brought back graffiti style prints recently with its Stephen Sprouse tribute collection, but I think Coach brings something new to the table here. I really like the mix of edgy and feminine here; the thick black outlines make the roses appear much less fussy, and the whole design really pops against the white fabric background.

That's a bit of a double-edged sword though, as customers report that the pale material gets dirty very easily. And goodness knows this isn't the kind of tote that will survive a trip through the washing machine. The metallic leather handles see to that! This probably limits this tote to occasional use rather than everyday wear, which is a bit disappointing for $369.99.

When you are carrying it though, this Bella tote won't let you down. It's generously sized and well appointed with slip and zip pockets and long dual handles. I love the pop of the hot pink lining, and the platform base which helps the tote sit up. If only there were some metal feet to keep the base clean when it's set down!

Gripes aside, this is a fun tote which makes a big impression. Just don't expect it to look so good after a few seasons!

In the 90s, Zevs was one of the top graffiti artists in Paris. Today his work is shown at international galleries around the world. What a difference a few years make!

In his latest exhibition, Liquidated Logos, Zevs has taken some of fashion's most iconic monograms and turned them into modern art. The recognizable signature prints of Louis Vuitton and Chanel are manipulated and cast on canvas, ceramics, and even metal. In this piece the colors of the famous LV logo run down the piece, almost as if they've been caught in the rain.

The eye-catching artworks will be on show at the Art Statements Gallery in Hong Kong from July 16.

But there's some concern that Zevs may not make it to the grand opening. He was arrested yesterday after painting the Chanel logo on the exterior of Chater House, an office tower in central Hong Kong. Sure it's great advertising for the show, but some might say it's also going a little far!

His graffiti bags and rose print purses were snapped up by keen fashionistas the world over. Now four years after his death, the fashion house's creative director Marc Jacobs has paid tribute to this design pioneer.

"It's this idea of a head-to-toe look in this brash, neon, rock 'n' roll, edgy, street-informed style," Marc Jacobs told WWD. "Sprouse really best personified it.

"I tried to take what Stephen had done at Vuitton and then kind of flip it in my head, and make it Vuitton's work for Stephen, not Stephen's work for Vuitton."

The revamped Sprouse collection includes rose motif monogram Speedys and hot pink graffiti holdalls, like this one Marc Jacobs has used to protect his modesty! This sexy shot will appear in the January issue of Harper's Bazaar to promote the line.

We'll get a sneak peek of the complete collection on December 15 when welovesprouse.com goes live. The site will also feature interviews with people who knew Stephen Sprouse best, and their commentary on how he influenced fashion and art.

The Sprouse tribute line will be available from Louis Vuitton stores worldwide from January 9.
