Dutch tech accessories company CoverBee has created an ultra-opulent laptop sleeve for girls who believe only the best will do. The exorbitant case costs much more than any laptop at a staggering £6.9 million.

The sleeve's exterior is studded with thousands of glittering diamonds. In fact there are more than 8,800 round cut gemstones with VS clarity grades and F color. As an assurance of their quality, each comes with its own certificate of origin.

The interior doesn't skimp either; it's lined with rare ebony sable fur sourced from Russia. The plush lining helps to protect your precious technology while giving the laptop sleeve a final luxurious touch. It's also surprisingly animal friendly, as CoverBee only uses the pelts of creatures that have passed from natural causes.

CoverBee's chief executive Peter van Soldt concedes that creating such an outrageous laptop sleeve is "a little crazy," but he adds that it's "only thanks to this attitude we can design brilliant products."

Anyone with a cool £6.9 million can order the extravagant Diamond Sleeve directly through the CoverBee website. You needn't worry about the accessory going astray either, as its shipment will be handled by a leading secure logistics company that's used to taking care of gold ingots and bank notes. The last thing you want is an investment like this getting lost in the mail!

Thankfully this purse is easier to use than its name is to say! Its fabric body is embellished with square black buffalo horn tiles. I was a bit unsure about the use of buffalo horn, but as the material is recycled I suppose it's ethical. The tiles' polished centers are in contrast with their weathered corners, which make a diamond print when they're all sewn together.

The finish is so striking, but I think the rest of the purse's quality lets it down. The wrist strap is functional but it's so thin that it looks a bit cheap. I'm also not a fan of the base material which we see poking out from the sides. It's hard to pick apart the aesthetics when we look at the price tag though. When a purse costs just $24, some corners are bound to be cut!

Size is another area where Global Elements has skimped. This clutch's petite dimensions mean it's really made for little more than a slim cell phone, vital cards, keys, and loose change. That might seem limiting to some, but what else do you really need on an evening out?

The Polished Diamond Jorn on Natural Horn clutch isn't quite the purse it might have been, but it's still great value for the money.

When you realize what's in the handbag you begin to realize why it's so pricy. The purse is made from 18 karat gold studded with 4517 diamonds. In all there are 105 yellow stones, 56 pink ones, and a whopping 4356 colorless jewels. This clutch is certainly no lightweight; it weighs an impressive 381.92 karats. Ten artisans worked on the clutch for around 8800 hours, under the watchful eye of designer Robert Mouawad.

The 1001 Nights Diamond Purse isn't the House of Mouawad's first record breaker. You might remember the fashion house worked with Victoria's Secret to create the $11 million Very Sexy Fantasy Bra in 2003. Clearly these guys know a thing or two about extravagance!

If you want to see the 1001 Nights Diamond Purse up close, visit the Doha Jewelry and Watches Exhibition in Qatar. It'll be on display there until Sunday. If it needs a new home after that, I could certainly find a space in my closet!

House of Mouawad Purses on eBay

The basic black leather is punched up with metallic embroidery. The blue and silver stitched diamonds have a tribal feel, which is right on trend. However the execution is so lovely, I can't imagine the Folli dating once the fad fades.

This mid-sized cross-body has a cute pouch shape, which can be cinched in with the drawstrings on the sides. I'm not always a fan of drawstrings as they can be a bit fiddly. However with them positioned on the sides, rather than around the bag's opening, we should still be able to access our swag easily enough.

The medium dimensions are a good compromise I think. We shouldn't have to leave anything really important behind, but we won't be tempted to load ourselves up. Cross-body bags lend themselves to busy days on the go, and the Folli's size is ideal for that.

At $195 the Folli is one of Cynthia Vincent's more affordable bags, and also one of its best.

Coin purses are rarely spacious, and this one is no exception. But it does include a few functional features that the others lack.
