Like the Weekender II Duffel Bag, no one could accuse this Weekender Print Crossbody of lacking in organizational qualities. Though significantly smaller than the average-sized duffel, the crossbody still has its fair share of pockets and other practical features.

We're starting to hit the time of year where canvas material is on its way out of stores and replaced with fabrics like velvet and corduroy. With its floral cotton print, there's no mistaking the Weekender Crossbody with a fall or winter accessory. However, that doesn't mean you can't enjoy it during the last bit of warm weather or at least stock up for the spring.

My favorite part of the canvas print is the blend of colors. The yellows, blues, and greens on this version are just too pretty to ignore. This bag also comes in a darker color combo including fuchsia, which might be better at transitioning from summer to autumn, but personally I prefer the blues and greens.

The Weekender Print Crossbody is more than just a pretty purse, though. In addition to the front pouch, there's exterior zippered storage and more zip and slip pockets inside. The style of the bag is flat, which makes it comfortable for crossbody carrying since it falls around the hip.

The long strap is detacable, though I'm not really sure why since that basically renders the bag useless. It's not one of those convertible designs that becomes a clutch when you take off the strap, but I guess Fossil was going for a classic crossbody look with utilitarian style. This practical and pretty canvas handbag is admirably affordable at only $78.

This has to be one of the prettiest Whiting & Davis bags I've seen. I always expect classy styles and sometimes a vintage vibe from the brand, but I'm really liking how this Ribbon hobo captures those elements yet has a contemporary feel as well.

The gray mesh fabric is screenprinted with a wavy, ribbon-like pattern. The unevenness, almost randomness of the lines is what gives the hobo an updated style despite the traditionally old-fashioned material.

There's also a leather handle that adds to the contemporary look, too. It could stand to be just a tad longer, in my opinion; however, because of the ultra slouchy style of the hobo, it doesn't seem like it would be too inhibiting.

The interior is lined in nylon fabric and contains a few handy pockets including one zippered and one for your cell phone. The Ribbon hobo is very unstructured, which won't make it the most practical for organizing your items, but it does cut quite a stylish figure.

Bulgari serves up a slice of pop art with this cute retro clutch.

The luxurious black Italian silk finish features a bold geometric print with white and yellow boxes. The Bulgari logo sits inside each square, a detail which looks a little cluttered to me but is bound to please fans of the brand. The design has a minimalist screenprinted vibe, which is both retro and right on trend.

The interior is lined with white leather, a chic choice but one that's bound to show battle scars in time. Like so many clutches you won't have the space to carry much inside, but you will need to worry about errant lipstick stains and car key scratches.

This purse has a bold abstract style which would look equally at home with a black cocktail dress or a dark pair of denims. It'd be an ideal everyday clutch, if only the fabrics weren't so fragile.

Juicy Couture never has a problem branding their products with large logos and phrases. You only have to look at the Baby Fluffy or Choose Juicy handbags to know that.

It's fairly blatant with no attempt to hide their marketing attempts, but there's always someone who digs the brand's signature style. I wouldn't call myself a Juicy fan, though there are a few exceptions like the Small Bowler that catch my interest. That being said, they've got their look down pat, and tons of women come running for flashy, catchphrase-covered bags just like this Generation Y From Juicy with Love tote.

It's nothing if not loud, and some might even call it gaudy. However, it's exactly what I expect from Juicy and just what some shoppers love about them. The screenprinted phrase "From Juicy, with Love" has a nice ring to it, I suppose. I'll at least give the brand some credit for their attempt to include correct punctuation.

As far as canvas totes go, however, there's not much to set this Generation Y bag apart from the rest besides its extra-large size. It's certainly a convenient accessory to have around for those days you need a handbag to throw extra stuff in like market purchases, beach items, or gym clothes.

I'm not sure if this tote is worthy of its $78 price tag, but you have to remember that you're paying extra for the Juicy logo plastered on it as well as the bag's slightly enormous size. If the price range isn't an issue, however, but you'd prefer something sturdier, logo-free, and (dare I say) cuter, you might want to check out The Sak's Pax Eco Canvas Tote instead.

Nothing quite personifies to me the quirky side of Marc Jacobs' personality like his recurring fashion character (and possibly alter ego) Miss Marc.

In contrast to the often classic styles of his parent brand Marc Jacobs, the offshoot brand Marc by Marc Jacobs is the perfect place to showcase this graphic screenprinted gal. The unique Miss Marc has graced everything from shirts to ballet flats and now this casual spring/summer hobo handbag.

Though she often looks sad, a little lonely, even peakish at times, this lavender linen-blend purse is a nice place for her to reside. She seems content on the happy color and maybe somewhat perky seeing as she's got a smile and heart-shaped sunglasses. It's as if she's ready to bask in the warm, sunny weather ahead.

Without the presence of Miss Marc, this handbag is quite ordinary and simple with a typical size and amount of storage. I do, however, appreciate the addition of a removable canvas strap that gives the wearer multiple carrying options.

The retail price of $178 seems a tad high for a regular linen hobo bag. However, with a recognizable character like Miss Marc, it's not too much if you're aiming for brand recognition. Look for this happy personality on several other bags including a larger satchel.

Warm weather is quickly approaching whether or not we're ready for it. With sunny skies ahead, it's time to start thinking about what casual day handbags you'll be carrying. Oh, Juicy Couture, you always seem to hone in on the ideal designs and clinch the deal with your cleverly funky details. With styles like the classic Daydreamer bag and the free-spirited Baby Fluffy, Juicy appears to have their finger on the pulse of what handbag shoppers are looking for and then taking it to a new level.

I'm not always a fan of logos and names branded onto handbags. With bags like the Choose Juicy tote, Juicy Couture is one of fashion's biggest offenders on this account. However, the popular brand has marked its territory along with almost every product they produce and created quite a following with their signature style.

Despite the superfluous logo, I find myself drawn to the Daphne Tassel handbag. The deep red velour looks so rich and is wonderfully complemented by the dark brown leather trim and embroidered logo. The bright yellow "gilded" color option that is also available is not my taste, but the dark blue is rather pretty and the heather gray option is nice, too. Some tones just don't work well on velour, but jewel shades are fabulous for the soft material. The dark wine-color on the Daphne is a great example.

Like all Juicy handbags, there are fun details that make this satchel unique to the brand. Hanging from one of the handle rings, you'll find a jeweled ribbon and a shiny, gold-toned tassel that coordinates with the rest of the Daphne's hardware. Next to the Juicy Couture logo, a red embroidered rose adds a touch of femininity.

The inside is lined in signature Juicy fabric. Fun phrases are stamped on the interior pockets to denote their uses. A zippered pocket perfect for holding cash and change urges the owner to "Shop!". A cell phone slip pocket poses the greeting "Hello?". I haven't found another brand that has tongue-in-cheek humor engraved on their bags. Only Juicy Couture pulls off funky details like that and remains firmly planted in the fashion world. The small Daphne Tassel Satchel retails for $195.

In comparison to the bold Choose Juicy bag, the Flagship Shoulder Bag is quite tame. If we're talking about your basic black handbag, however, it has a little something extra. Without the often-seen Juicy Couture logo taking over the bag, the Flagship seems more grown-up than some of Juicy's other options but still stands out in its own category.

If it didn't have any bells or whistles, this shoulder bag would just be a nice, slouchy handbag. For women who want more than an average purse, though, the Flagship has some interesting details and textures that combine to create a unique look. The distressed, glazed leather has a rugged quality that evokes a slight rocker vibe.

It's not for someone who wants a simple bag, though. A grosgrain ribbon drawstring weaves through grommets around the top of the purse and comes to a bow that lays across one side of the bag. A contrasting vertical band runs from the back to the front creating the flap lock closure. It couldn't be less simple. In the words of the fashionable judges on Project Runway, it seems a bit overworked. I don't dislike the details, but they seem somewhat fussy when combined on the handbag.

However, if you love grommets and distressed leather, the Flagship Shoulder Bag is probably a great choice for a basic black bag. The gold-toned hardware adds elegance and displays the signature Juicy Couture logo and emblem. This leather handbag retails for $395.

If ever a brand could be called out for obvious branding on a product, Juicy Couture would be found guilty for this particular one. It's not like we don't expect it; we find their name splashed on almost every bag or pair of sweatpants they create. It's hard to miss when someone is wearing Juicy, which is surely the best advertising they can get.

It's not subliminal advertising. It's directly-in-your-face advertising. You have to give Juicy Couture some credit for unabashedly commanding people to buy this bag and being completely successful with their experiment. The bold if not bossy Rock the Bag tote is very popular.

Despite its rather cheeky phrase, the handbag itself makes quite a statement. The Choose Juicy bag is available in hot pink or gold metallic leather. Either choice is definitely not for blending into a crowd!

On the gold option shown here, the screenprinted text contrasts the bag color with pretty silver lettering. Forget the old rule that you shouldn't mix your metals. Silver and gold work together well on this Juicy Couture tote. The result is a flashy handbag that manages to look trendy without being overly garish.

In all, the Rock the Bag Choose Juicy tote is fun and stylish even if you are shamelessly promoting Juicy Couture when wearing it. A large, bright metallic leather bag might not be your thing, but it definitely has its place in fashion. Get this one for around $225.
