Wow, what a blast from the past! This graphic wallet is enough to take us back to our childhood cartoons, whether for you or to treat the man in your life.

There isn't much fancy to this Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles nostalgic purse. After all, it is simple in black leather, which adds quality to a childish image. Leather wallets are always great for looking and feeling classy, and generally last longer than alternative synthetic fabrics. It won't last forever for $21, but for a fun and entertaining purse it will do great!

The colors on this wallet are bright. with a turtle image on one side and that iconic text on the other. Consequently it is probably a little too bright for some, but should definitely attract attention.

All in all this is a functional and childish wallet that will fulfill its purpose with a healthy dose of fun!

Snakeskin is On Trend for Animal Print Handbags and Accessories

If you're looking to add an animal print accessory to your wardrobe this season, look no further than snakeskin. Whether the genuine article or a more affordable embossed alternative, fashion experts say snake now trumps leopard and cheetah spots.

Andrea Linett, the creative directory of Lucky magazine, says snakeskin's popularity can be attributed to its versatile nature.

"A snakeskin boot can be rock 'n' roll if it's in a rock 'n' roll shape, or it's classic if it's in a lady shape," she explained.

Compare this to metal studs, which always add attitude, or frills which scream girly girl.

Snakeskin is "beautiful, rich and earthy," adds Abbe Held, creative director of handbag brand Kooba. She loves the interest that snakeskin's textured surface instantly creates. "It's neutral yet has so much character and personality."

It seems fashion fans agree, with retailers enjoying record sales of the sexy exotic.

"We're doing a lot of business on snakeskin, in shoes and handbags, especially," added Macy's group vice-president of ready-to-wear fashion Nicole Fischelis. "It's the fusion of things - the colors, the graphics, that you can wear it with dresses or sportswear - that makes it more interesting."

If you don't already own a snakeskin bag, perhaps it's time to add one to your wardrobe!

Jimmy Choo and Elton John Launch Photographic Competition | Win Designer Shoes and Handbags

Following the announcement of Jimmy Choo and Elton John's designer collaboration for AIDS initiative Project PEP, the fashionable pair has launched a photographic competition.

Your entry will need three things: you, your favorite shoe, and the number 72. The number is significant as Post Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP) must be administered within 72 hours of exposure to the HIV virus.

The competition aims to raise awareness of the Project PEP initiative, which will raise funds for the Simelela Rape Center in Cape Town, South Africa. The center looks to administer rape victims with the vital PEP medication and provide medical, counseling, and legal support.

More than 100 lucky snappers will take home products from the Project PEP range, with the grand prize winner scoring seven pairs of shoes and two purses from Jimmy Choo. Many of the winning images will also be displayed at Project PEP's official launch at Selfridges London on October 29.

Goldenbleu Christi Clutch | Cute Purse in Patent and Matte Diamonds

Coin purses have always been popular with those who like cute bags that come in tiny sizes. The traditional kiss-lock closure and slouchy thus spacious shape make them an attractive design with a healthy dose of functionality. This over-sized version from Goldenbleu acts as a clutch, yet with all the sweet features of our old coin purses.

The shape is obviously pretty, and the kiss-lock clasp is an age-old design that rarely breaks as well as looking good. The exterior sexy leather design, however, is what makes this bag really quite beautiful. In a bright diamond pattern contrasting blood red patent squares with a more muted matte shade, this oozes style as well as a stylized cubist-yet-60's vibe. The effect disappears somewhat on the black option, but is very desirable in red.

Looks-wise this Goldenbleu clutch is flawless, from the monogrammed faux suede interior with its matching red trim to the glossy metal frame. It is also pretty functional, although the interior of this patent wonder is perhaps smaller than one would hope for. The main drawback is the lack of any sort of handle. Whilst clutches are meant to be clutched, they need to be carried easily too!

Jimmy Choo and ELLE Collaborate for Fashion Week | Get a Project PEP Bag Before They Hit Stores

Earlier this summer, we learned about Jimmy Choo's decision to team up with the Sir Elton John AIDS Foundation for a capsule collection of flip-flops and handbags. The collaboration, which will benefit the Project PEP initiative, is still several months away from being in the hands of thoughtful shoppers ... or so we thought.

For the currently happening Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York City, the fashion experts at ELLE and Jimmy Choo are distributing one of these perfectly punk-rocker totes for one day only. People can head over to the famed Bryant Park this Wednesday, September 16, between the hours of 10:00 am to 5:00 pm to get one of their very own. This handbag from the Project PEP collection will only be distributed while supplies last, however, so get in line early if you're in the area.

For those of us not fortunate enough to be in NYC for the fashion week events, we'll have to wait until November to get our hands on the designs. Don't worry, though: you can head over to Jimmy Choo's website to sign up for their Project PEP waiting list to make sure you don't miss out.

Marni Geometric Clutch | White Calf Leather Clutch With Modern Origami Inspired Design

Marni has a knack for figuring out what modern women want without resorting to overused trends and clichés. This Geometric Clutch is the perfect example of their refined design sensibility in action.

I love the crisp white and black color scheme of the clutch. The black edging really reinforces the lines of the bag, and draws attention to its structured, undulating design. The shape of the bag itself seems partially to come from nature - it resembles a seashell - and partially from geometry. The origami-style pleating gives the clutch volume, and is a subtle visual detail. While I almost wish there was no clasp, I like the way the clean design of the gold tone hardware fits into the overall look of the bag.

The clutch is bigger than it looks, or at least it's bigger than I thought it was. At 14" x 7" x 6", it's really on the oversized size of clutches, great if you're the kind of girl that likes to keep her arsenal of beauty products close at hand. I could fit almost my whole make-up drawer in here!

Target to Create Totes from Times Square Billboard Art | Limited Edition Bags Designed by Anna Sui

It's another case of billboard meets fashion. Similar to eco-friendly companies Artecnica and GG2G, the major retail store and budget fashionista-favorite Target is set to make a line of handbags from recycled billboard materials.

These aren't just any ol' billboard advertisements, however. The material will come straight from their upcoming ads in New York City's Times Square. The billboards, which will remain in action from Labor Day to the end of October, feature graphic art by talented, upcoming artists Michael Anderson, Josh Goldstein, Laurie Rosenwald, and Charles Wilkin.

After the vinyl is removed from Times Square, it will then be crafted into one-of-a-kind, limited edition tote bags designed by current Target collaborator Anna Sui. The upcycled handbags will be 90% recycled billboard material with a few added details.

You won't want to wait until they're completed to make your purchase, though. Shoppers will be able to buy the tote bags beginning on September 4 at www.target.com/billboardbag while the ads are still up. You can even choose which artist's work you want on your bag. Only 1,600 bags will be made, however, so you'll have to get in on the action early.

These recycled billboard tote bags designed by Anna Sui will retail for an affordable $29.99 and will be shipped upon completion in early January.

Payless ShoeSource Releases New York Charity Tote Bag

Payless ShoeSource will released this stylish charity tote as part of NYC's Fashion's Night Out, an initiative designed to promote New York fashion and retail and inspire consumer confidence.

The fabric bags feature the official cityscape graphic created for the Fashion's Night Out campaign. The reusable bag is made to last with its rip-stop nylon finish and electric blue lining. $5 from the sale of each tote will benefit The National September 11 Memorial and Museum at the World Trade Center.

Payless will also host late-night shopping events on September 10 as part of the Fashion's Night Out celebrations. Payless guest designers Christian Siriano, Lela Rose, and Patricia Field will appear at the stores on Lexington Avenue, Fifth Avenue, and Broadway in Soho respectively.

"Payless is thrilled to participate in New York City's Fashion's Night Out with an exciting program that is sure to help bring shoppers out on this special night," said LuAnn Via, CEO and president, of Payless.

The Fashion's Night Out tote will be available at almost 50 Payless ShoeSource stores in New York City from September 10 for $10.

See by Chloé Doggy Tote | Hot Pink Designer Canvas Carryall With Quirky Print

I thought for sure that we were beginning to see the last of the neon color craze, but then I found this brand new canvas tote by Chloé. See by Chloé's offerings are usually on the very edge of mass market trends, but this time they may be just a minute too late.

Not that a color should necessarily be relegated to trend fodder, but let's be honest. Since neons were everywhere in 2008, I can't help but think "last year" when I look at this. The graphic is quirky and cute, but the black on hot pink punk lite print only enhances its past tense appearance.

It does satisfy my personal requirement that a tote cost less than $100, but you'll find it for sale for as high as $145, so be aware. It really shouldn't cost that much, considering that it is unlined and contains no interior pockets or any other organizational features.

Also on my list of complaints is the horribly tacky chain hanging from the printed dog's neck. It really looks like an accessory made for children. If it was made for little ones I might feel differently about it. The cutesy color and quirky details would all make a little more sense. But for grown women with the pocket change to fund a hundred dollar carryall? I don't think so.
