Anja Rubik has been working hard in the fashion industry lately. This Polish model seems to be involved in all kinds of projects including designing for Poland-based brand Quazi and starring in some of the advertising campaigns of fashion's biggest names.

She has created quite a statement in multiple Gucci ads, and now the blonde bombshell is once again starring in a Giuseppe Zanotti campaign. She must have made quite an impression for the label in her recent spring/summer 09 shots.

In fact, the ads must have been quite popular since Giuseppe Zanotti reunited Rubik with her spring/summer photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. The Rock Couture campaign was expertly styled by fashion editor Emmanuelle Alt.

Gucci has got it right with its latest advertising campaign for their Jackie collection. The fashion house has abandoned exotic locales and color, preferring instead to keep it simple.

Polish beauty Anja Rubik stars in this basic black shoot captured by the legendary photographic duo Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. But the main focus is that gorgeous Jackie handbag.

This season's Jackie maintains its famous bamboo details, but there are some exciting changes for bagistas. Gucci has experimented with leathers, releasing a gorgeous metallic with a violet hue, and black and khaki python purses. It’s also available in a new size, giving purse fans even more choice.

The Jackie is available in 12 different versions. You'll see it in Gucci boutiques and all the usual retail outlets this fall. There’s no word on pricing yet, but you can expect those snakeskin handbags won't be cheap! At least we've got a little time to save our pennies!

Givenchy has released a dramatic new campaign for the upcoming fall/winter season starring models with stares just as icy as the weather ahead!

Creative director Ricardo Tisci has ditched his usual collaboration buddies Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin in favor of Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. Model Mariacarla Boscono still does a starring turn, but Mert and Marcus' direction breathe new life into the ads.

The result is more elaborate than Givenchy's typically minimalist advertisements, with plenty of color and French attitude. The captivating shots were captured at the historic Chateau de Ferrières, located just outside Paris. Ooh la la!

Mariacarla may get top billing, but this shot of Adriana Lima has really caught my eye. Her baby blues look so haunting against her gothic dark make-up and long raven tresses. That unflattering outfit's never going to set the world on fire, but I'm lusting hard over her white triangle tote.

Art and fashion have always gone hand in hand, but few luxury labels can boast the artistic partnerships of Louis Vuitton. Now a new book, Louis Vuitton: Art, Fashion, and Architecture, will celebrate the marriage between the French fashion house and the world's most influential artists.

The hardcover anthology details collaborations with elite artists, architects, designers, and photographers. They include the graffiti and rose collections of Stephen Sprouse, the joke bags from Richard Prince, and the colorful Japanese purses of Takashi Murakami. Long time photographic collaborations with Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin and Annie Leibovitz are also celebrated.

Along with plenty of full color photographs, this gorgeous coffee table book features critical essays examining Louis Vuitton's artistic development under the guidance of creative director Marc Jacobs.

Just like the print commercial, it stars Lily Donaldson, Abbey Lee, and Natasha Poly as Amazon women and Jonatan Frenk as a polished and poised Robinson Crusoe. It's also got Dutch superstar photographs Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin behind the lens.

This video gives us a closer look at the new Gucci handbags, which include a luscious red tassled hobo and a to-die-for slouchy ostrich leather bag. The sophisticated collection of man bags might even convince the love of your life to carry one.

These purses have so much personality, but it's a shame I can't say the same thing for the models. Sure they’re attractive specimens, but it's all surface with little substance. Their vacant expressions and slow, languorous movements might be sexy to some, but I think they're just snoozeworthy. I understand wanting the fashions to shine, but a handbag should never have more life in it than a human being!

Indie actor and musician Michael Pitt is trading in his grubby jeans and tees for a little Yves Saint Laurent. Michael is the star of a short film produced by the luxury fashion label. It will screen at the launch of Stefano Pilati's new collection in Paris this week.

You might have seen Michael Pitt in gritty independent films like Last Days, Bully, and Hedwig and the Angry Inch. When he's not lighting up the silver screen he takes the mic with New York post-grunge outfit Pagoda. It's all a world away from the polish of Yves Saint Laurent, so the casting choice is an interesting one.

Michael's already got those compelling baby blue eyes, but he's bound to look a lot more handsome under the direction of famed photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.

Michael will take front row at Wednesday's event, which will include a film screening, small runway show, and cocktail reception.

Givenchy has enlisted star fashion photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Matadin Vinoodh for its spring/summer 2009 advertising campaign.

Lara Stone and Ana Claudia Michels look incredibly awkward in this shot, thanks to those terrible shoulder pads and their blank expressions. They might be gorgeous girls, but Lara and Ana Claudia are completely upstaged by the beauty of that oversized satchel bag. The rich textured finish is to die for, and that long shoulder strap offers some added practicality. I just hope it's not as heavy as Lara makes it look. Perhaps the Dutch model could lift it a little easier if she just had a decent feed!

This luscious purse is part of Givenchy new collection created by Riccardo Tisci. The range follows what the creative director calls a "Western bondage" theme. It has a distinctly Western vibe, but there's a splash of Parisian glamour.

The ad campaign also features exotic beauty Lakshmi Menon and smoldering brunette Mariacarla Boscono.

Gucci has gone troppo with its spring/summer 2009 advertising campaign. The photo has a truly international flavor with models from all over the globe. Australian glamourpuss Abbey Lee stars alongside British beauty Lily Donaldson, Russian siren Natasha Poly, and Swedish sensation Jonatan Frenk.

The models look gorgeous in their colorful Gucci wardrobe, but it’s hard to look at them with that stunning snakeskin purse in the frame. With the jungle backdrop, it’s almost like the python handbag was created using one of the locals! The bold python print and polished gold-tone hardware give this bag a sophisticated style, but the casual slouch make it versatile enough to carry every day.
