If I don't stop gushing about Marc Jacobs, people are going to start thinking that I'm a spy from the company sent to BagBunch to trump up his stuff. I'm not, I swear, and as evidence, here's a bag by Marc Jacobs that I hate. All that being said, the man is a genius, and this bag is proof.

It's also proof that you can incorporate a lot of trends in a design and still make it look wearable. The Sasha has all the black leather badassitude that I'm coming to expect from the fall season, plus asymmetry, plus zippers, plus sparrows? Yeah, they're not really a trend, except to people who are into psuedo-tattoo sort of stuff.

The slouchiness of the bag makes it look really downtown and ultra-hip, but all the pockets and pouches make it really practical. There's the front flap pocket, two front zipper pockets, and the main compartment. I won't even go into the inside, but it is equally compartmentalized.

I love compartmentalization, but this might be a bit much. I probably just wouldn't use the front zipper pockets. Well, maybe to hide an in-case-of-shopping-emergency hundred dollar bill. And the sparrows I could do without, but they miraculously don't bother me as much as I would expect. They're a little bit of sweet on a bag with a lot of sass. Maybe it needs that?

Pamela Anderson seems like an odd choice for a designer label ad campaign. When other brands are showing off their products on the waif-like bodies of supermodels like Kate Moss and Raquel Zimmerman, Vivienne Westwood is opting for busty and brassy with Anderson.

This actually isn't the first time that the Baywatch babe has collaborated with the edgy designer, though. Pamela showed up in Westwood's ads last season and even walked one of her runway shows, to the surprise of Fashion Week attendees earlier this year.

In the designer's Gold Label ad campaign for this fall/winter season, the voluptuous blonde poses with Vivienne and Vivienne's much-younger husband Andreas Kronthaler. The look is both raw and unstructured and even kind of random.

I'm not sure what the purpose or vision is supposed to be, but at least we get a great view of some Gold Label handbags in the front of this one. They might not be on full display due to the busy stuff going on around them, but I can spy a few nice shapes and details.

It pays to have friends in high places, and they don't come much bigger than Simon Cowell. The X Factor judge recently flexed his considerable influence to get a Chanel handbag for last year's winner, Alexandra Burke.

I do wish that this feminine purse had an optional handle, just to add ease and practicality. Whilst the wrist handle is lovely, two alternatives are always good! What it lacks in handles, however, it makes up for in looks.

Following in the footsteps of many other musicians and actors, Ronnie Wood is starting his own fashion line. The Rolling Stones guitarist is joining Liberty of London for a collection of accessories and clothing.

The British store's creative director, Tamara Salman, decided to work with the legendary rocker when his abstract artwork caught her attention. Wood's collection will include men and women's clothes and handbags featuring adaptions of his paintings.

"I wanted to work with Liberty of London because of the great tradition that Liberty has of artistic collaborations going back to the very early days when Liberty first opened," says Wood.

The Ronnie Wood for Liberty of London collection is set to be launched in the fall.

This ASOS Mock Croc Vanity Case immediately recalled a red hard-case luggage set of my mother's that I cruelly abused on trips to camp and grandma's before I ever realized the vintage appeal of it's retro lines cream faux-silk lining. There was a large red square suitcase and - the piece de resistance - a smaller round train case the perfect size for a child's suitcase. Too bad none of us realized its fabulous fashionable value and it's now dirty, dusty and dented.

So I was all too pleased to spy this round red mock croc travel bag on The Bag Lady. It could certainly fill the small space in my heart reserved for such luxe, retro accessories. But how could my cosmetics and travel accoutrements fill the small space of this bag? Let's discuss.

While there is a mirror in the lid of the case, inspiring ideas of setting up a makeshift vanity everywhere I travel, there is no mention of pockets or partitions. This concerns me. If I'm using a travel-specific bag I don't want to have to put all my bottles and brushes into other, smaller travel bags before putting them in the big bag. It's a waste of time and space, two things there are never enough of when packing.

Another practical drawback is the fabric wrist strap. I'm not sure how cute I would find this while lugging the bag through the airport.

So I'm afraid this is mostly an aesthetic piece. It is bolstered in this respect by fabulous leopard-print lining. Would you expect anything less?

A Fendi Spy bag is the It bag to end all It bags. While this comes with incredible cache, it also comes with a lot of lemmings and the pitfall of seeing every other girl with your purse.

So it behooves a shopper to look for a lesser-worn design of a high-visibility It bag. Like this Fendi Violet Sequined Spy Bag.

The signature spy bag design looks quite different when done all in sequins. And I love the pink and purple sequins they chose for the job, accented with black detail to highlight the traditional Spy shape. Pale goldtone hardware supplies the finishing touches.

True to the design there is a short flap over top with a logo-plate detailed satin loop. Satin piping extends down the sides and bottom as well.

The major challenge of this bag is where to wear it. It's quite large for an evening bag but too dressy for day. If you don't find yourself with a lot of red carpet situations, I think the best bet is artsy functions and fancy dinners.

Well, hello Upper East Siders, I spy a delectable leather accessory on the arm of Queen B. It seems that despite her romantic shortcomings, Blair Waldorf's fashion sense is as on point as ever. If you don't worship at the Gossip Girl altar like yours truly here then I may have already lost you, but it's in your best (stylistic) interest to read on.

Gossip Girl may be intended for teens, but it has the best fashion out there as far as I'm concerned. A few episodes ago, Blair Waldorf was spotted touring Yale with this fabulous Jardin Rose Framed Duffel in lipstick red, and I had the very weird urge to reach through my television, strangle her character, and steal her purse.

Seeing it in purple, I realize that it would have been completely justifiable homocide. The supple nappa is luxurious and the smooth grain of the leather suits the detailed feminine design perfectly. The gentle rouching on the frame top moves into more extravagent gathering on the body of the bag that not only creates volume, but also moves the eye to the center of the bag with its beautiful leather rosettes.

The generous 15" x 8" x 7.5" size might be a little too much for the dainty hand straps when full, but luckily there's a removable shoulder strap. The gold tone hardware provides a subtle, but rich contrast with the cool purple hue.

I really couldn't love this bag more. Unless, of course, I could afford it. But at $2,395 retail, this is one for the Blair Waldorf's of the world.

Oscar-winner Marion Cotillard impressed in the Eiffel Tower Lady Dior ad campaign this past winter, and now she's back at it again with something a little different.

This time, she's utilizing her highly respected acting skills for Dior's new mini movie, entitled The Lady Noire Affair. The six-minute film makes it debut on LadyDior.com next Wednesday, May 20.

From the online preview, it looks like we can expect plenty of mysterious people, kidnappings, and other scenes similar to a 1940s spy thriller like Ingrid Bergman's Notorious. I can't help but see the similarities between the two. Dior's version, of course, will also feature plenty of fabulous handbags for us to envy.

“We wanted to capture the glamour, the intrigue, the heroine and the mysterious allure that radiates around her,” said John Galliano, Dior's creative director. “Marion has brought the Dior woman to life. She is incredible.”
