I'll admit that I sometimes get a little mixed up about all of the different lines underneath luxury label Moschino. Not only is there the main brand but also Moschino Cheap & Chic and Love Moschino.

Sometimes it can get a little confusing, but one thing I know for sure. I might love the chic styles of the secondary lines, though I would never categorize them cheap; but it's the main line of just plain Moschino that puts out the most luxurious, expensive, and often most classic styles of the three lines. This Moschino Beluga Shoulder Bag is a perfect example.

The quality of the Beluga is top-notch, and I'd expect nothing less from a purse that costs nearly $1,700. It's the kind of handbag that you don't toss in the back of the closet or replace anytime soon when you factor in the price and the versatility of the style.

The somewhat casual style of the shoulder bag makes it great for regular use. Pretty ruching around the top emphasizes the lightly pebbled leather texture and adds a bit of slouch to the shape. A few buckled details on the handle and leather strips down the front give this brown leather purse a hint of equestrian style, though the look is very subtle.

The Beluga is simple but lovely with designer touches, a great everyday shape, and practical touches including a detachable and adjustable shoulder strap. If you can afford the price tag, this one just might be worth the investment.

Bally Cabala-E Traditional Tote | Spacious Slouchy Luxury Purse

This is a Bally bag that Bally can be proud of. As some of the most expensive and desirable purses on the market, Bally bags always ooze glamor and luxury, and this huge spacious tote is no exception.

This soft leather hold-all is designed to last forever, from the quality leather to the artistic workmanship. For $1800 you expect nothing less than perfection, and the fantastically sculpted lines suggest that the Bally designers have done their utmost to make that the case.

This tote, with its slouchy shape and space, is great for carrying your belongings through day and night. With the huge and versatile capacity, however, I am surprised that the handles are so small. Despite the shape hinting at heavy loads to be carried, I get the impression that this status symbol bag is more about looks than actually being used. Somehow, although it isn't unexpected, I feel disappointed that such a fabulous bag doesn't quite live up to its hugely posh expectations.

Whatever the little hesitations, however, this is a true Bally bag. It is sophisticated and classy, and perfect for work or play. Taking you seamlessly from day to night, I love it!

Daughter Inspires Olivia Harris, Joy Gryson’s Budget Youth Handbag Collection

Joy Gryson has two new babies: her six-year-old daughter Olivia Harris and the budget handbag line which shares her firstborn's name.

Little Olivia seems like the perfect namesake for the brand given her own keen fashion sense.

"She's really, really funny. Whenever we see someone walking in the street with one of the bags, she gets too excited," explained the New York designer. "She loves the little charm and the tag."

Showing you're never too young to carry a designer purse, Olivia enjoys carrying a one-of-a-kind creation made lovingly by her mother. Her pink leopard cross-body hobo covered in hammered rivets doesn't sound like the most tasteful creation around, but that just makes it perfect for a mini fashionista. While Olivia would love to take it to her first-grade class, her mother insists it's for weekend use only.

While fashion fans can't get Olivia's beloved bag, others like it are available in the Olivia Harris collection.

"We're all about downtown," explained Joy Gryson. "If the Gryson girl is TriBeCa, the Olivia Harris girl is her younger, cooler, rock ’n’ roll baby sister from Brooklyn or the LES."

Olympia Le-Tan Creates Line of Clutch Handbags Resembling Famous Pieces of Literature

There are book bags, and then there are bags that are books ... or rather look like books. That's what Parisian "It" girl Olympia Le-Tan was aiming for when she created her first handbag collection.

The new line, aptly named You Can't Judge a Book by Its Cover, features rectangular clutch bags with a hand-knitted exterior inspired directly by some of literature's classic first-edition covers. This quirky accessories line has everyone covered with 21 pieces ranging from the titles "For Whom the Bell Tolls" to "The Misfits" to "Satan refuse du monde."

The designer described her inspiration for the collection:

"I was thinking there were all these beautiful books around and they were being forgotten with everybody on the Internet, so I made it so that you can carry them around," said designer Olympia Le-Tan at her Paris fashion week presentation at the Galerie Véro-Dodat.

Maxx New York Barrymore Magazine Tote | White Pebbled Synthetic Handbag

Girls who bemoan leaving their latest copy of Vogue at home will be thrilled with the Barrymore Magazine tote. It's tailor-made for carrying the hottest glossies!

The name should tip you off that this tote comes from Maxx New York's vintage Hollywood collection. That makes it a little more luxurious than many of the brand's bags, with classic pebbled leather replacing the synthetic we've come to expect. Of course, the price fluctuates accordingly. $225 might seem a little high to Maxx New York fans, but it's very reasonable for such a versatile leather carryall.

This white tote probably isn't the most practical option, but at least there are metal feet to protect the base. If you're hoping for the looks to last though, the black bag is probably your best bet. The golden hardware complements both shades beautifully. By adding some tiny studs here and a delicate zip there, Maxx New York keeps the look timeless. The logo tag tips the balance, but it's easy enough to remove.

The Barrymore is made for carrying more than just magazines. The cleverly organized interior makes it easy to keep the clutter at bay. There are two zippered pockets which complement three open gadget pouches. Outside there are another two zippered pockets in the front and back for even more secure storage space.

The strap is long enough to sling over your shoulder, but if you prefer the cross-body look don't worry. A detachable shoulder strap gives you that extra carrying versatility. It's completely adjustable too so you can get just the right fit.

Santi Blake Clutch | Sequined Handbag with Black and Silver Pattern

With the winter holiday season rapidly approaching, it's time to start thinking about the perfect party accessories. Glittery clutches are always appropriate for dressy holiday events, and any of Santi's options are sure to make a statement.

This Santi Blake clutch, with its black and silver pattern and shimmering body, reminds me quite a bit of the Whiting & Davis Chevron Jelly Roll bag. Although Whiting & Davis's creation is made from metal mesh and Santi favors sequins and satin, the patterns on the two handbags are strikingly similar.

I'm not sure that sequins are the best option since they aren't known for being particularly sturdy. The metal mesh on the Chevron Jelly Roll might be a better option for durability. However, Santi's clutches aren't cheaply made, and the Blake will most likely hold up just fine with light use during special events.

Although slim in design, this Santi bag is a decent size for a party clutch since bare necessities are all that's required. There's even a handy optional chain strap that tucks in neatly when not in use. I prefer the look of this sequined clutch without the strap, but it's nice to have the option available.

Roxy Staying Alive Cross-Body | Casual Washed Blue Synthetic Tote

Roxy is known for casual, carefree styles. That's exactly what you get with this Staying Alive Cross-Body tote bag.

Although not denim, it definitely has the appearance of a wonderfully broken-in, relaxed pair of jeans. In fact, it's not even leather but rather synthetic material that gives the impression of washed leather. Roxy gave us a double trompe l'oeil with this one.

Whatever impression the exterior has for you, the style is set in stone. The Staying Alive Cross-Body is nothing but casual cool with its multiple front pockets and cotton canvas adjustable strap. I wouldn't recommend carrying it to a business meeting unless flip-flops and sneakers are common accessories in the office, but it's perfect for pairing with jeans and a tee.

The nearly square shape of the bag makes it easy to store things of various sizes, and the outside pockets work well for holding small necessities. The top closes with a zipper and flaps over the front. The Roxy Staying Alive tote isn't enormous but rather decently mid-sized. However, for $38, you can't really go wrong with this one for an occasional laid-back bag.

The Bar None satchel from Kenneth Cole's Reaction line is a bag for no-nonsense girls. The lack of bells and whistles may disappoint some, but its combination of high quality materials and functional design is sure to win fans.

The body is reminiscent of a barrel bag with its soft, sexy curves. A splash of polished silver hardware dresses up the tumbled leather finish. The design's very subtle, making the satchel perfect for a day in the office, a trip to the mall, or even a dinner date.

The styling is chic, but the Bar None's biggest drawcard is its practical design. A zippered pocket is discreetly placed at each end, adding storage options without detracting from minimalist look. The mid-sized interior is decked out with a massive zippered pocket and two small slips for gadgets.

The cream Bar None is bound to show marks quickly, so I'd opt for this mist shade if you're after an everyday bag. It's not a very dark leather, but it's more likely to disguise wear and tear.

LeSportsac Kasey Crossbody | Whimsical Nylon Handbag in Owl Print

LeSportsac is not exactly a trendsetting brand, at least as far as the majority of the fashion world goes. However, this company offers nothing less than the most practical bags imaginable without inducing boredom.

This Kasey Crossbody is a testament to the brand's marriage of convenience and cuteness. The nylon material that covers the inside and outside of the Kasey is fairly standard for LeSportsac's designs and one of the things that attracts many shoppers. There's something very comforting about knowing that you don't need any special stain-cleaning talent when something is spilled on this purse.

Although you can get the Kasey, and most LeSportsac bags, in a solid color like black, I'm not sure who would want to when there are a plethora of fun, whimsical prints from which to choose. My personal favorite is this retro-looking, colorful owl pattern. It's certainly not professional office appropriate or something to take on a dressy night out, but the cute print is perfect for day trips and running errands.

The variety of prints isn't the only appeal of the Kasey, though. This crossbody offers much more space than you'd imagine from a relatively flat handbag. The deep interior is great for filling with a few big items, and the two exterior zippered pocket are just right for smaller things like cash, cell phone, lip gloss, and more, eliminating the necessity of a wallet. The adjustable strap is practical but also detachable if you'd prefer to stow this organizing handbag into a larger tote for the day.
