Sadly this bag comes off as a poor imitation of those gaudy graphic bags. I've never really warmed to Ed Hardy's bold prints, but at least they were part of the label's original creative vision. Here the roses and regal crown seem imitative and uninspired. The slogan says "Love My Bag," but it almost seems like a plea rather than a definitive statement.

The graphic takes focus from what is actually a pretty smart everyday cross-body. The lightweight canvas body makes the Rose Tattoo's generous dimensions more manageable. The cross-body strap could stand to be much wider, but at least it's got a synthetic portion to cushion our shoulder.

Had Tianni opted for a more original print, rather than simply following the cues of another fashion house, the $50 Rose Tattoo might have tempted me. However sadly it just seems like a cheap reproduction of a more expensive purse. It may find fans with Ed Hardy fans that are strapped for cash, but I can't imagine anyone else being interested.

This is one of those handbags you'll other love or loathe. Its hot pink synthetic body is obnoxious enough, but the red snake-printed accents bring another layer of loud. Tiny squares of the python print decorate the corners, and another strip of it cuts across the top.

The choice to pair red and pink is certainly bold. It's not to my taste, but nothing on this bag really suits my more sophisticated sensibility. Instead it's made for girls who dare to be different, the ones who march to the beat of their own drums.

Say what you want about its exterior, but it's hard to fault the Sofia on a practical level. It offers plenty of storage space and most of the functional features of a high end purse. Sure its pockets might not be reinforced, and its lining might feel a little cheap, but at least those features are there.

I can't say that I agree with Tianni's assertion that the Sofia has "just the right look for any outing," but at least it's cheap enough for brave fashionistas to get their money's worth.

Vertical zippers decorate the front of this rectangular synthetic handbag. At first I thought they might have hidden a practical secret; some hidden pockets or expandable sections perhaps. But no, they're merely an aesthetic detail designed to liven up the blue synthetic body. They do that, and do it well, but I can't help feeling a twinge of disappointment that they're just surface.

The Elle's interior meets our expectations without exceeding them. It's very generous, but the pockets do a decent job at helping us stay organized. They're the stock standard really, a couple of open pouches and a zippered pocket too.

But for the money, perhaps we should be happy that Tianni's not really skimping. The use of synthetic is a bit of a compromise of course, but it's one we've grown to expect at this price point. At least it does a reasonable job of mimicking the real thing.

At $80, the Elle is an affordable everyday handbag. It might not inspire a lot of handbag envy, but it'll certainly serve you well.

The Hanna has such a casual look about it that I can't help anticipating taking it to picnics and the beach once the weather warms. The thick canvas body would certainly be up to the challenge, and the pea green color is perfect for the season ahead. I've never seen green paired with metallic silver before, and I'm not entirely sold on the combination. But it does help to dress the Hanna up a bit, and a little extra glitz can never truly be a bad thing.

The Hanna is a good size for all those outings I have planned. It's not enormous, but it's capable of handling more than we'd need on an average day out. The zip and slip pockets will keep smaller items organized, while the snap closure makes sure everything stays safe.

It's not the most luxurious or fashion forward bag, but when you buy a Hanna you're getting exactly what you pay for. At $73 this fun Tianni hobo is priced to sell.

This isn't the kind of handbag that cries out for attention, but there's something endearing about its white handles and trim. I love the way these light, bright accents pop against the bright red PVC. The pleats seem a bit awkward and unevenly executed, but they do help to break up the large expanse of colored material.

It might not be the most luxurious of handbags, but it is luxuriously large. The Zoe was clearly made with pack rats in mind, as there's enough space for everyday essentials and then some. The pair of open pockets and zippered pouch do the job of keeping us organized, but that's about all. This configuration is really what we expect of a purse of this size and price, no more and no less.

Having said that, any time a bag so large comes under the magic $100 mark I'm impressed. Tianni has done well to make the Zoe an everyday handbag we can all afford.

The striped cross-body strap and woven microfiber body have a real athletic air that's sure to appeal to girls on the go. Microfiber isn't a luxurious choice, but I think it looks much better than the cheap synthetics so many budget labels use. It's also super strong, so unlike a tacky pleather it should last for many years to come. Synthetic isn't abandoned altogether though; it's used as a stylish accent rather than the main event.

The Sandy is just as practical as it looks, with plenty of pockets inside and out. Unlike so many bags with ample compartments though, it's not uncomfortably large. This really is a bag for busy girls; it's got the space you need and no more so it won't weigh you down. Its webbing cross-body strap is completely adjustable to make sure you find the perfect fit.

The Sandy isn't a trend setter, but for a mere $50 it does its job admirably.

This tote has the most traditional shape. Long simple nude handles coordinate with little touches of trimming, and a stylish clasp. Then all you have is a spacious and functional body, where the beautiful floral print is left to speak for itself. A riot of summer and spring colors, this is the perfect complement to the warm weather soon to arrive.

Of course, for $50 you won't get a classy leather exterior to match the traditional tote shape. However, I actually prefer the fact that the bag is made of canvas, as its much more appropriate for beach-wear and other such summer frolics. And, of course, the absence of leather makes this Tianni handbag much more affordable!

Classic, pretty and floral, this is one of my favorite totes on the market.

Tianni obviously prefers the girl next door to any glamour puss. This is a down-to-earth tote, practical and made for everyday outings rather than special occasions. It's made of durable canvas rather than a luxury fabric, although the range of four fashion shades add individual style.

The practicality continues inside with more features than you might expect from such a simple looking tote. It's fully lined with plenty of space and organizational pockets of the slip and zip variety. A lobster claw closure keeps your essentials tucked safely inside, and two long shoulder straps make it easy to grab and go.

Each Beautiful Girl tote features a cute screen-printed graphic and an empowering feminist slogan about true beauty. It reminds us that beauty is about your personality rather than the diamonds on your fingers and the Manolos on your feet!

Then there are the more casual, low maintenance totes. You're more likely to see these down-to-earth accessories enjoying a picnic in the park, or cheering on the kids at a Saturday soccer game. This fun East West Double Handle Tote falls into this relaxed category.

The look is traditional, although in this surprising combination of pink and lime green it doesn't play it as safe as the rest of the range. If you'd prefer the traditional look, consider this tote in black, natural, or nautical navy.

This a roomy tote, although the zippered pocket and pair of open pouches make the space more manageable. You should have enough space for everything you hope to carry, although the soft fabric body is made for overstuffing. The zip along the top keeps everything safely inside while the slide pocket up front is perfect for the goodies you need on hand.

It might make the fashion snobs recoil but for $40, girls on a budget should enjoy this Tianni bag.

Don't worry, I am not talking about a handbag made out of cat skin. Instead, I mean a surprisingly upbeat duffel bag from Tianni, a brand who is usually quite staid and formal with its handbag design. Of course, you can't really get much further away from formal than by painting your canvas bag in sunbathing cats, so if the brand was trying to appear more lighthearted then it has probably achieved it!

Despite all the reasons, I actually don't hate this bag. I know I ought to, but there is something tongue in cheek and funny about the decoration, which even extends to the handles. And,when it comes down to it, this is a functional bag that has been given a dramatic twist, and I have to give Tianni kudos for that!

Unconventional and incredibly affordable, this $36 cat duffel from Tianni is undeniably fun!
